Chris is an experienced and enthusiastic professional cellist and music teacher with a background in orchestral playing. He added drumming to his musical repertoire in the 1990s when he began running workshops in the community and regular classes and workshops in schools.

Victoria has a passion for music and has been playing and teaching djembe for more than 20 years. She combines her skills in musicianship with her background in group facilitation and training to provide high energy workshops which build confidence and inspire.
Chris and Victoria continue to regularly study with Master African Drummers who live in or visit the UK, including Henri Gaobi, Seckou Keita, Mamady Keita, Iya Sako, Sidiki Dembele and Babara Bangoura. They are both committed to passing on the traditional rhythms faithfully.
